It’s almost summer and it’s time to get your bikini body on!  I’ve got the best solutions that are proven and tried by some of the hottest celebrities including Ashley Greene.

Your Best Bikini Body For Summer begins with your mindset, not your diet or ab moves. Yes you read correctly! Your mindset is going to guarantee you that you feel and look your best in your bikini this summer.

A positive outlook on life is without a doubt one of the most powerful tools you must have to become successful. Positive people expect good health, fitness, happiness, wealth, success and good relationships. This is not because they already have it, or because they are more confident, it is simply because of their attitude and mindset. The law of attraction is the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life. Your Best Bikini Body For Summer are just a few positive thoughts away!

Here are 6 simple, but powerful truths to be more positive and have the best summer of your life:

    Paparazzi loved us this day.

Believe: Believe that you look great, know that you look great and feel that you look great in your bikini. What you believe in will come to you!

  • Replace negative thoughts with positive ones: When you start to think negative thoughts take a deep breath and think positive thoughts like, “I feel awesome”, “I fricken rock” or “I look fabulous!”
  • Surround yourself around positive people: Negative people can and will rub off on you even if your the most positive person. So surround yourself around  positive people or those who accept you just the way you are.
  • Do things that make you feel happy: “How you do one thing is how you do everything.” One of my favorite quotes and words I live by. If you are feeling happy in other areas of your life, than you won’t care as much about how you look in a bikini. Just Rock it and be happy!

Think positive and enjoy YOUR BEST BIKINI BODY SUMMER ever!

Don’t Let Your Heredity Stop Your Destiny

“Don’t let your heredity stop your Destiny”

Have you heard someone and maybe even yourself say something like? “I am big boned so I won’t be able to lose the weight.” “My mother or father was heavy so this is just how it’s going to be for me.” “My mother died prematurely of cancer so I am no going to have a long life.” “My father and mother got divorced so I’m never going to be able to have a stable relationship.” Of course you have. It’s natural for people to try and predict or forecast their futures based on their family history and their heredity. But that doesn’t mean it has to be your destiny.

Recently I heard somebody say, “Don’t let your heredity stop your destiny.” In other words, don’t let the way somebody treated you or what they did or didn’t give you keep you from pressing forward and becoming all that you deserve to be. Your family who raised you may have had addictions, but that doesn’t have to be your future. You can be the one to break that negative cycle. Your parents may have had health issues or were overweight, but you don’t have to keep letting that curse be passed from generation to generation. You can be the one to say, “No more. This is a new day! I may have had an unfair past, but I’m not going to have an unfair future. I am not going to let my heredity stop my destiny.”

You can rewrite your story. Look at Oprah Winfrey for example. I had the privilege and honor to meet Oprah about a decade ago with my dear friend Colin Cowie http://www.colincowie.com at Sydney Poitier http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001627/ 80th birthday party here in Los Angeles. She radiated positivity, passion and love for life. Oprah grew up in a very poor and unstable home where her problems were compounded because she was sexually abused, starting at age nine, by men that others in her family trusted. We have all watched her battle with gain and loss for over 30 years. And in spite of all of these challenges she is arguably has become one of the most influential people in the world. I’m sure you’ve heard of “The Oprah Effect”, anything that she touches or endorses turns to gold or becomes a success. It’s true her influence expands worldwide.

My friend please take control of your life today and “Don’t Let Your Heredity Stop Your Destiny!” It’s never too late. I believe in you and know you’ve got what it takes to be your best self.

Bill Paxton – actor, husband, father and friend

Bill Paxton

I write this blog with a heavy heart for the loss of passionate actor and a friend to my wife and I. Bill passed on Feb 25th from a stroke resulting from complications after heart surgery on February 14th. He leaves behind his beloved wife Louise, son James and daughter Lydia.

I first became familiar with Bill in the movie “Weird Science” back in the 80’s where he played Chet, a jerk older brother who got turned into a “blob” for his abusive behavior to his younger brother and friend. But he was anything but a jerk in real life! Bill was best known for his outstanding performances in Titanic, Apollo 13, Aliens and Edge of tomorrow. He recently had a starring role in TV drama series called Training Day.

Bill was and is more to me than just a great actor. Bill came into my life when I met my beautiful wife Yuki. Yuki works at a local sushi restaurant, Matsumoto http://www.matsumoto-restaurant.com where Bill, his family and coworkers frequented on a weekly basis, sometimes 2x a week. Bill became more than just a customer to Yuki. He became a friend, someone who genuinely cared about Yuki’s well-being. They shared laughs, stories and the affection of amazing sushi and sake. He was not only genuinely nice to Yuki, but he also was always gracious and friendly to the patrons of the restaurant who recognized him. He offered to take selfies with them, he made conversation and just made everyone feel comfortable being around him.

I would love when Yuki would come home from work to tell me the stories about Bill that evening. He would walk into the restaurant and the first thing he would say out loud was, “Hey Yuki!” She would stop what she was doing,  go over, give him a hug and a kiss kiss on each cheek.

I had the great fortune to meet Bill one evening at the restaurant when Yuki and I decided to dine there. Bill and his family came in and were seated next to us. He barely recognized Yuki because Yuki was not wearing her work uniform and was dressed in regular street clothes. When Yuki said, “Hello Bill!”. He said, “Yuki!, Wow you look amazing! I barely recognized you.” Then Yuki introduced me to him and his family as her husband. It was the first time Bill got to meet formally meet me after he learned about our marriage several months early. He was so thoughtful and kind. He gave each of us his blessing in marriage, with some friendly advise. His wife Louise and I hand several minutes of meaningful conversation while he and Yuki talked. We thoroughly enjoyed the their company and presence during our dinner.

After this evening, Bill told Yuki several times how great of a couple we were and how happy he was for her that we found each other. After that evening I only had several other short interactions with Bill. However, his impact on me and us as husband and wife was larger than he could have known. Yuki and I even gave it great thought in asking Bill to be our marriage officiant for our party.

The last time Yuki saw Bill was a few days before his scheduled heart surgery. It was a busy night at the restaurant, but Bill made sure that Yuki was aware he was not going to be back for a few months since he’d be recovering. And his last words to Yuki were, “Yuki please think of me on Valentines Day!”

Bill if you could here me or if you can somehow read the words on this computer screen I’d like you to know that Yuki and I will do more than just think of you on Valentines Day! We will pay tribute to your life, your career and for the impact you made our lives. We are both deeply saddened for your loss and will miss you greatly.

I’d like to send strength and support to Bill’s family during this challenging time. And equally as important, I’d like to send all my love to family, friends, client’s and acquaintances who read this. Please give someone you love today a hug, a call to say hello or tell them that you love them. Because you never know when life might be cut short.

God Bless,

Steve and Yuki

Fuel Your Hope

Sunshine and rainbows coming out your @$$ is only in fairytales.

Almost every day I read, listen or watch something that helps me to keep a positive attitude. I don’t wake up naturally with sunshine and rainbows gleaming out of my you know what….@$$!  I also have to work at staying positive, but it has and is more natural for me today then it ever has been because I never give up on it and it really is at the core of who I am.  Happy, positive, outgoing and exuberant about life.

But occasionally, even sometimes daily negative voices that want to put myself down, that want to minimize my abilities or diminish my successes is always knocking on the door in my mind. But I do my best to keep that door locked to keep out that negative self talk. The same way you lock your door to your home at night to keep out anyone who might want to steal, rob or harm you.

You have everything within you now to have and to do more in life. Think about it for minute. What holds you back from living your life to the fullest? Maybe your not where you want to be in your career yet. You thought you were going to get that promotion or raise and you didn’t.  Or you haven’t lost the weight you’ve been trying to lose. Maybe you’re single or recently got divorced, but really want to be in a stable relationship. If you focus on these temporary circumstances, it opens the door to negativity and limits your opportunities to get what you really desire in life.

In a few days we’ll be watching the most important awards ceremony for actors and entertainers called the Oscars. When we see these “Stars”, many who I’ve  had the honor and privilege to coach, you’ll see them only in a positive manor. The “glow” that attracts you and everyone else in the world to them on the biggest night of the year in their career or lives is often temporary. Many and if not all of them have the same negative voices that creep into their minds that limit them from being, having and doing more. However, I know without a shadow of doubt all of them have found ways to overcome and fill their minds with only the positive thoughts that helped get them to this outstanding place professionally.

In my experiences working with these “Stars”, I’ve seen and heard the other side of their stories. Some of them have been homeless, broke and out of luck. And those experiences and negative emotions have a way of creeping back in to their minds, even after they have the success. So in my coaching and obviously at the right time  I would say them just like this, “You are perfect and whole today and always. You have and possess everything you need to be your best self. And you or I will not settle for less! So let’s get going and move it out! Are you with me?!” And they would say, “Yes!” But I often have to repeat this mantra over and over again within a session or during the life of our coaching relationship to keep reinforcing the positive emotion and thoughts.

The “Stars” that I’ve trained throughout my career are no different than you or I. We all are human. We all hurt. We all want to be loved. We all have fears. It’s just that some of us know how to stop those negative thoughts at the door of our minds and keep finding coaches, mentors, books, podcasts, speakers, events or other resources to motivate and/or inspire us to be better.

So my hope and wish is that I did that for you today with this blog. This is what I  tell my client’s when they walk into my private training studio on day one and what I am telling you,

“For the 1/2 hr or 1 hr that I work with you, we are going to use exercise for the mind and body coaching. The results don’t happen in here. The results happen when you walk out that door and play the game of life for the additional 23 hrs of the day or until I see you next. In our sessions you’ll learn the processes to make better decisions to transform your mind and body. And that’s how we roll! Are you with me?” Great!

Please let this blog give you the reassurance that you’re not alone. Yes, you are absolutely unique and that’s the beauty in each of us, but you’re not that different than the rest of us.

Here are my 3 resources that I use daily to help me stay at the top of my game that hope you too might find valuable to “Fuel Your Hope.”

To fueling your hope,
